The shop I wish I'd had.
I grew up hunting the mountain tops and shooting rifles that never felt "good enough." When I started building my own, I realized how much having full confidence in my rifles mattered on the ridge.
Western Pursuit is the shop I wish I'd had — honest gunsmithing, real custom work, and somebody who'll pick up the phone when you call. Every rifle I build is one I'd carry. Every job that comes through the door gets the same attention and care.

Katie keeps it all moving.
Katie has a business degree from WSU, is a full-time mom, part-time CEO, and the one behind the scenes making it happen. None of this would happen without her.
What's behind every rifle
Twenty years at the bench.
Western Pursuit is a custom rifle shop, but it stands on twenty-plus years of fabrication, welding, machining, and CNC work — from mission-critical oil and gas pipelines and advanced bridges to one-off experimental fabrications. Joe has worked from the shop floor up to Executive VP of Operations for a global fabricator.
He carries multiple 6G welding certifications, runs both manual and CNC machining equipment, and has built to the codes that govern bridges, pressure vessels, and aerospace fabrications.
That background shows up in every rifle that leaves the door — in the tolerances, the finishes, and the willingness to do the difficult work right.
